Excellent laminate countertop

We are building a dry bar in our basement family room. I found a cabinet second hand that worked great for the space, however the countertop was pretty rough looking. I thought about covering in contact paper but decided it wouldn't look good enough and any texture from previous damage would show through. When I ran across this counter top for such a great value I decided to try it. It arrived safely and without damage. Upon unpacking I fell in love with the marble-looking design! It has a great higher end look for a laminate countertop. I have to touch up some areas of paint on the cabinet but it's going to be perfect and exactly what I was hoping for! I also love that it's lightweight enough that I can move it around by myself if I choose to use it in a different way in the future. So excited to finish our snack/dry bar area now that we have the finishing piece to our cabinet!

I originally ordered this to use as a countertop in my laundry room but really considering using it for a top on my desk. It is made well and is sturdy and great looking. As I haven't got it installed as I have been debating what I am going to use it for it will be easy to install. It looks just like the displayed photo and is as described by the seller. Would recommend.

First impression: smells like carpet glue! Wow, I had to leave this in the garage for a few days to let the adhesive smell dissipate.
I used this to make a tv stand, and it's definitely plywood and not mdf. The marble look is achieved by what looks like contact paper, but it's applied well and looks the part. It is full on top, and wrapped around the edges, however the bottom surface is white. For my project I had a few inches overhang about 3-4 feet high, so I do notice it. As I was assembling everything, I dropped a screwdriver on it, which left a ding in the surface (after it arrived in good condition). I didn't have a need to use the edge banding, but there were no instructions on how to apply it anyway. It's just over 2-1/2 ft, long enough to cover one edge of the top and backsplash if trimmed short
