I am very pleased with this product: it is easy to cut and install, and flattens out pretty quickly. I am using this in the fridge on the glass shelves so they don't look nasty when there are drips, and in the kitchen cabinets and drawers. The liner stays put and offers a non-slip surface. Because it is transparent there is no grid printed on the flip side to help with cutting, but the geometric pattern actually helps a lot. I'm the person who can't stand NOT straight cuts; using a dry-erase marker, ruler, and scissors, or a cutting mat, exacto knife, and ruler also makes cutting quick and easy. Depending on the dimensions of the type you purchase, this shelf liner works out to be pretty average in pricing and in comparison to other liners I've seen. I chose the 11.8 x 234" for the fridge and more narrow drawers, and I am planning on purchasing the 17.7x197" for wider drawers and shelves. In terms of how "waterproof" this item is, I would have to say water RESISTANT is a more accurate descriptor. The liner itself is waterproof, but unless you somehow seal the edges to the surface, there's always a possibility of water seeping over the edges and under the liner. It is however, removable for cleaning and cleans up nicely in place with cleaner and a paper towel. Overall good product that I would recommend!

This shelf liner works really well and is easy to cut and put on my shelfs. It has a bumpy texture on the front but does not reflect on the back so there is no added adhesion. They have kept my cabinets clean and the pattern is nice.
