Great Quality Beginner Clarinet

As a musician (but not a clarinettist), I was skeptical about the quality of this instrument given its price. I assumed it would be a "beginner" level clarinet, and it is that. HOWEVER, the feel, packaging, construction and detail in this instrument is WAY BETTER than I expected!
LIKES:
Hardcase with molded interior
Includes all necessary accessories (including a reed to start you off!)
Includes two barrels for easier tuning
Includes cleaning cloth, gloves, etc.
Even has cork grease!
The stand (metal thin in the bell) is really cool!
DISLIKES:
only one - no instructions for assembling a clarinet nor telling you what to do with all the accessories
When I received this, I was immediately able to assemble it, wet the reed, and make clarinet noises! The tone is pretty good, though I'm admittedly not a clarinettist. It will be fun to learn on this instrument. I would NOT be ashamed to bring this clarinet with me to a jam session, group class, or anything.
IF you're looking for a clarinet either to learn on yourself or as a gift, I think most beginners would be impressed by this one.

The Bb clarinet comes complete with everything necessary to begin learning immediately. It's easily assembled, chap stick is provided for cork lubing but only 1 bamboo reed is included. The carry case feels solid and durable.

For the price, the quality is amazingly good, it's a real instrument that plays well and has all the accessories you need to get started playing. The clarinet comes with two barrels, which seem to be based on the American and Eastern European difference, and each piece feels well made and fit together perfectly. It comes pre-installed with a reed, so once you wet it, you can begin playing. The case is sturdy and well made, with lots of precautions such as a flap to hold the handles together so the case can never open accidently. The cleaning cloth has a clever "shoelace" design to allow pulling through the inside of the instrument more easily, and the gloves are nice to avoid getting oil on the instrument as you put it together. If you ever wanted to try clarinet, I can't think of a better kit to try. It would also make a nice present to someone, it's a good quality musical instrument complete with case and accessories.

This is a really nice clarinet for the price. It is well made, fits together nicely and produces a good sound. The keys are smooth and nothing sticks. The wood and keys feel really premium especially considering the price.
