It's very hard to tell what this is trying to show you. The readings really bounce around all over the place and even with the device stationary you were getting wildly fluctuating readings. I'm not really sure what it all means yet but the device seems to have decent build quality and I like that it is rechargeable. It appears to be Madewell but I am not exactly convinced with the practical use of this is. I put it near the microwave and I get dozens of flashing readings faster than I can make out. So all I know is that something is going on. I think the threshold setting is the most useful of this .
I will take this on my next trip and see if it can help me detect electronics where they don't belong. I would intend to come back and update this review but for now the devices apparent quality has still convinced me. Let me see if I can put it to a good practical application.

No ghosts in my house

I have been using this to find stray EMP signals in my house. I first tested this on things I know put out EMP signals such as microwave and phone chargers to verify it works. I must say that this device is real and works great. This meter is great to have around to check to make sure devices are not putting out too much EMP signals. I also like to take this with me on travel to look for hidden cameras and other devices. I like that when there is overpowering signal the meter changes color and makes a beeping sound. My favorite part about this meter is that this doesn't take batteries, but is rechargeable and the internal battery has a really good lifespan.

We ordered this primarily to use during our home renovations, as it is a wonderful thing to be able to locate where the electrical lines are prior to drilling into and/or demolishing those areas. In this regard, it has already proven its value on more occasions than I can count. That said, it has also been unbelievably fun/unsettling to go around the house with the detector and getting a read on where the highest electro-magnetic fields exist.
I do not have another unit against which I can test this one for accuracy, but I can attest to the fact that it is able to detect EMF everywhere I know it to exist and to find it (wires) in places where I did not expect to find any. As a total newbie to this type of device, it did take some study and experimentation to get the hang of how to use it and interpret what it was trying to tell me, but it is a fairly straightforward process. We are glad to have it in our toolbox, and I enthusiastically recommend it.

I don't have a way to really know how "˜accurate' this device is, but it's given us some interesting feedback.
High readings from the wireless phone chargers we keep near our bed. Some people don't worry about the effects of EMF on humans, but we fall somewhere in the concerned and keep it moderate range of people. We still use lots of wireless devices and know most of them pose little threat if you are not keeping them near vital body parts for extended periods of time.
That being said, we did find out we should probably be keeping our wireless phone chargers at least on the far side of our night stands. Also realized there is a grounding issues in one of our outlets as it was reading over 600.
A number of things around our house give off more EMF than we would have speculated so it is nice to zero in on those items and make sure they are in a safe location (i.e. not right next to our heads all night long). Maybe it still isn't enough to make any difference, but sure cannot hurt just being a little cautious about our EMF exposures.
Definitely recommend this for doing some readings around the house. Good value, comes with a handy case, and seems to provide consistent feedback. Easy to use.
