I usually don't bother to write a review but this cat tree is awesome. This thing came in 5 pieces and took me approx 5 minutes to assemble including taking it out of the box. It has real carpet material and thick rope. Is very large and sturdy. I have two 13 lb cats and they immediately loved it. 10/10 recommend.

I have 3 pretty hefty cats, and they rip around that thing like crazy! The middle bar is a little bit wabbly, but it hasn't slowed them down. It is solid materials, but I guess if I had to have one negative to say, it would be that it has no padding on the shelfs. They don't enjoy laying on the landings for long periods of time. I was hoping the cat post would tempt them to nap on there instead, but my spoiled fatty cats can't be bothered. I did put padding on it and they now sleep there more.

Our 2 purebred Maine Coons love this cat tree! We've had several Maine Coons since 2008 and it's incredibly rare to find cat trees that will comfortably accommodate their large bodies. Our female is 17 lbs (and feels too thin) and our male is 24 lbs. They often relax in the top cradle, even curling up into balls inside. Their oversized kitty selves do not hang over any part. It is very sturdy and bears the weight of their bodies even when they run and jump into it. The tree does not move or creak with the force of their rough housing. My husband is a mechanical engineer and he commented on how sturdy it was when he assembled it months ago, when we received it. I highly recommend it! I hope this helps you
