This is very good for small products. I love it.

This lightbox arrives folded up in a small tote bag. You get a selection of backdrop colors: black, tan, white, red, green, and blue. The black, tan, and white backdrops are made of thin plastic. The red, green, and blue are made of thick paper. I like the plastic backdrops better, especially the fact that they can be wiped clean. The black plastic backdrop in my lightbox arrived with a little dent in it, which was disappointing. I probably will not ever use the red, green, or blue backdrops. I wish that instead of these extra colors, the box came with a gray plastic backdrop.

The light turns on easily, you just plug it into a USB wall charger and turn it on. The light has two rows of lighted rings inside the box. You can turn on one ring or both. The light can be turned on so it is extremely bright, or dimmed low. My favorite part of this lightbox is that you can shoot from a hole in the top of the box and get a good, flat photo of your item. The flap lid doesn't go all the way down, which might be problematic for some photographers, however, I take my photos with a smartphone, so it works fine for me.

The sides of the box are covered in shiny silver reflective material. This shows in the background when you are shooting some larger items and then you need to use photo editing software to edit it out, which is an annoying extra step. I wish this box came with extra backdrop panels to slip into the sides of the box. The lights are really bright and reflect on any shiny items you are photographing. Some kind of diffuser or screen would be helpful.

Overall, I found this box to be useful for shooting professional-looking photos of small items: books, DVDs, CDs, small toys, and accessories. It is not big enough to use for photographing things like shoes or handbags. This lightbox is perfect for the small business owner/reseller who doesn't have a lot of storage space. When you are not using this box, you can just fold it up, and it doesn't take up much room at all. This is a good starter lightbox if you want something small and basic to begin taking more professional photos.

I'm mainly using this little light box for photographing my crested geckos. It's easy to assemble, lighting is good and I could probably put 2 adults in there together, or 3-4 babies.
