This thing is built like a tank! It's very heavy and solid and has a great feel to it. I see it being a very convenient tool for anyone works on shut off valves regularly. I have three valves to replace at my house and used in on one this evening and it worked great. The finish is supery high quality. It appears to be powder coated but can't be sure. Either way, it's super smoothe and looks like it will hold up a long time. A great addition to the plumbing tool box!

This tool threads onto the side port of quarter turn valves often used under sinks and toilets in the US. It gives you leverage to hold the output port in the orientation you need it as you apply a crown nut and ferrule or press your press fitting or compress your pex or whatever supply line you opt for. This has well cut threads, is solid and hefty and works great. Nicely finished and no snags or sharp edges.

I was really surprised how rugged/heavy this tool is. If weight is a concern, this may not be the tool for you, but it sure is nice. This is built for everyday use. My only caveat is that I have not tested it on the threads of a stop yet. If I find it doesn't thread proper, I will edit. Good rugged tool, I am happy with my purchase.
