I have a 2013 Rockwood 2503S MiniLite TT. Last year I notice that my water pump was cycling every 11 minutes. This year, 2023 when I de-winterized, the pump was cycling every 3 minutes. It became so annoying I would shut off the water pump. So, I decided it was time to stop ignoring this problem and fix it. Another symptom was when I was on a city water hook-up, my freshwater tank would fill up to the point it was overflowing. I knew at that point the check valve wasn't fully sealing and the water was flowing backwards through the pump. This back-flow also occurs when you're using the pump. The pressure in the system back-flows into the freshwater holding tank. When the systems pressure drops to 40-psi, the pressure switch turns the water pump on to reestablish the 55-psi cutoff threshold.
Fortunately, my water pump is very easy to get to. Disconnect the two red wire leads to the pressure switch, and using just a #2 Phillips screwdriver, I removed the 8 screws that secure the upper housing to the pump. Carefully remove the old housing leaving the diaphragms behind it undisturbed. Reassemble in reverse order. NOTE: Be sure to install the large supplied O-ring into the circular channel in the backside of the new housing. I added a very thin film of O-ring grease to the new O-ring prior to assembly. So far, the pump hasn't come on unless I open a valve somewhere in the trailer. Good as new.

This housing fit perfectly. It is the latest version. There are earlier versions on some pumps that won't take the current check valve replacement kits. If the check valve goes on this one it can be replaced with the current version of check valves.
