With all of the travel ball going on today and players not getting solid training in the intricacies of the game, players are often coming into our high school program without the basic understanding that we require. I've been providing my players baseball IQ questions and explanations during the summer, but it's a lot of work to cover all the things they are lacking game knowledge of. Then I saw this book come out. Bingo. This covers an awful lot of the baseball IQ needed for those wanting to play the game at a high level. This book is now becoming required reading for any player who is wanting to play in our program. And at the price for the kindle version, it's an easy decision to buy it for all of the players. Hats off to Joe (and Dan) for putting this out there.
