Great, accurate little pump
R. Garrett✓ Verified PurchaseDecember 4, 2023
I ride road bikes.

While this pump isn't small or light enough to carry on my bike rides, it is perfect to use as part of my getting ready for a ride or to take with me in the car for a group ride. I now use this over my $300 hand pump and my garage air compressor with the Park Tool inflator.

My routine is to top off my tires before the weekend rides. I will put the pump on the rear tire and set it to 82PSI, hit start and then continue with other tasks while it pumps up the tire to that exact pressure. When it shuts off, I take it off the rear, lower the setting to 80PSI, put it on the front wheel, hit start and then continue with other tasks while it gets that wheel to the exact pressure.

It will normally take 30-60 seconds for each wheel to get pumped up but this will depend on how much pressure it needs to add. I have Quark Tyrewiz on my wheels, which transmits the pressure in real time, and from these can say that the Fanttik pump is very accurate and gets better results than I normally do from a hand pump.
Absolutely Amazing!!!!!

This is the best gadget I've purchased in the past 10 years. It is so small, but yet so powerful and easy to use.
Convenient garage bike pump, speed & charge claims exaggerated.

This is a handy pump to own and I think I'll find it most useful to toss in the back of my car when going on trips with my bike so I always have the ability to top up tires. It does fill a tire for you, but if you are riding a bike with high pressure road tires it does take a little while to fill the tire. The nice thing is it does work up to high pressures, I set mine at 105 PSI. It is still quicker for me to top up my tires before I ride using my floor pump, really it's a matter of half a minute with a quality floor pump vs. 1.5 to 2 minutes with this unit. You could get in the habit of attaching it to a tire and letting it pump while you get something else ready for your ride as the nice feature is it does switch off at the desired pressure. The pressure gauge seems to be accurate and give you a nice visual while it is pumping. The included hose is a little on the short side, it would be more useful if it was longer, but it does make it more of a compact package. I don't use the Schrader valve adapter but I can see it would be quick to swap from presta to Schrader and back.
At least with the presta fitting it is essential to screw the fitting down really securely on to your valve stem before you start pumping. On one of my bikes, I could not get a secure fit on the presta valve and found the pump unusable on this tire, as it was so slow before realizing air was escaping as I pumped. I'm going to blame the valve stem for that one as I got it to work well with other bikes and wheels. I also couldn't get it to secure very well on a mountain bike with a tubeless set up.

I ran a few tests to measure the speed and the duration of a battery charge. I filled different tires from being partially deflated to the max pressure recommended for that tire.

I got almost 10 tire partial fills from one charge as follows.
Tire 1. 700 x23c Road Tire
Fill 1. 68 - 105 PSI, 1min 21 secs
Fill 2. 49 - 105 PSI, 1min 26 secs
Fill 3. 49 - 97 PSI, 1min 31 secs

Tire 2. 26 x 1.75 MTB Tire
Fill 1. 33 - 65 PSI, 1min 52 secs
Fill 2. 38 - 65 PSI, 1min 36 secs
Fill 3. 36 - 65 PSI, 1min 51 secs
Fill 4. 37 - 65 PSI, 1min 41 secs

Tire 3. 700 x25c Road Tire
Fill 1. 74 - 105 PSI, 1min 20 secs
Fill 2. 79 - 105 PSI, 1min 13 secs
Fill 3. 63 - 97 PSI, 1min 50 secs This is where the battery gave out

The claims made by the seller for the speed of inflation are exaggerated. As are the claims for the number of tire fills you'll get from one charge.

It does not operate well in cold weather, it warns in the directions you may get error code E2 if the pump is overheated. I got this error code after I tried using it in a cold garage at maybe 35 F. Once it had been in the house for a while it started working again.
The included charging cable is low quality, find one that will let you draw more current, this one is too slow.

What it is not:
A portable emergency pump to take with you on a ride - too bulky and heavy for that.
A replacement for a floor pump - a bit slow but workable.
Quiet - 89 db is quite loud to be in close proximity.

In conclusion, it's a useful device albeit a bit slow, with a nice accurate gauge, ensuring you will fill your tire to just the right pressure. You will have it keep it charged regularly though.
So far so good!!

It's much quieter than any of the other models, and it does the job.
Air pressure not accurate -- way off (Revised. It works now. See comments below)

UPDATE: I tried again to make this pump worked. This time I removed the hose, made sure I had the correct fitting for a Schrader valve, and tightened it down. This time it worked! It accurately displayed the current pressure and stopped at the pressure I inputed.

I did get and E2 error at first, presumably because the pump was stored in the cold garage and the unit won't work when it gets too cold. I took it inside and tried again later, and the pump worked fine.

I think when I initially tested the pump either the hose was not tightened down, or else the Presta valve end was in use. This pump WILL allow you to attach the Presta-valve end to a Schrader valve, so when using the pump make sure the correct hose is in place.

****

I had high hopes for this mini pump. It's small, has fittings for both Schrader and Presta valves, and seemed perfect for tossing in a bike bag.

Unfortunately, the pump I received was way off in terms of air pressure. I attached the fitting, entered 40 pounds, and pressed the start button. The pump worked for just a few seconds, and then shut off automatically. But when I checked the pressure, it was at 25 pounds. I repeated this process several times, and the result was the same. While still connected, the display flashed 85 pounds for some reason.

This pump is also supposed to read and display the current pressure, but mine never did this. It remained at 0.

In my opinion, this pump is a little expensive, even if it had worked. Also in my opinion, I didn't like the way the hose attaches to the valve stem. It's a little fiddly and inconvenient to screw the thing on. I much prefer the type of attachment where you press the hose onto the valve and then flip a lever to make a seal.

I would have happily overlooked these negatives if the pump worked, but unfortunately, the one I received did not work.
