Quarter Turn Push Fit Valve

These are 1/4 turn Push Fit valves for 1/2 inch pex piping. The ball valve and housing is metal with NSF certification for drinking water use. They are reasonably priced and come with a handy removal tool that typically cost extra at a big box store. They should work nicely as hot and cold water supply control valves for a bathroom sink I'm installing.

These push-on fittings make plumbing so much easier. These are comparable to the name brand items at about 1/2 the price. They are installed exactly the same and even come with the disconnect clip if you have to remove them. They also come with a small spool of teflon tape but I have no idea why. You don't use teflon tape on a push-on connector. I will be using this on copper pipe but they work just as well on Pax tubing.
This is a good value for the price.

A spare valve can get you out of trouble, and push to connect is better than anything out there. These are comparable to the name brand and just as sturdy. We always have a few on hand to stop leaks or use in renovations. Having one for hot and cold (red and blue) is a plus. They are reusable using the included release tool and they come with teflon tape although I don't know why since teflon tape is not needed/used with push to connect fittings. Extra bonus teflon tape I guess.

I'm sold on sharkbite-type plumbing fittings, particularly if they're accessible when the job is complete. It's a perfect application for ball valves such as these.
These ball valves appear to be the same quality as the ones I can purchase at my local big box store, and are a fraction of the cost. The disconnect clip is a nice add, as I typically have to buy that separate locally.
The inclusion of a small roll of teflon tape is a little puzzling, as there are no threaded fittings associated with these valves that would need it.

I am going to be replacing my tired and old copper plumbing and I will be going with push-fit because it's so much easier to use. Plus I've helped my son with some small plumbing issues and we used push-fit fittings. Just love how these type of fittings work.
These shut off valve are well made, just as good as all the others I have, great quality, fine fit and finish. Pipe pushes in easier enough and locks in nicely. So far they work exactly as they should and I don't see any leaks. But I will update this if anything changes. They do take some work to pull out the pipe with the included removal tool, but I guess it's better to be tough to take apart, rather than leak. Levers work nice and smooth.
You do get a small roll of pipe tape, though I don't know why, these are push to fit, there is no need for tape. Seems odd. What do you use the tape for? Of course there is also a removal tool, that is okay, it works, but nothing special. If you plan to work with this type of fitting, get yourself a robust removal tool.
