Solid but heavy

This basket is solid, made with thick plastic and incredibility sturdy. When I'm not camping I use it in my refrigerator to organize items (so multi purpose). This is a heavy tray, however, so it does add some weight to a full cooler. If you, like myself, go camping by yourself, this may be an issue.

While I wish it was Cooler-White, this bin fits perfectly in our new Coleman Steel-belted 52 qt. cooler. Coleman doesn't offer one, and no bins or baskets I researched on Amazon seemed likely to fit. This one is PERFECT! It's a bit heavy. It's deeper than usual trays, but that is actually very handy. I was so happy to find this.

This solid dry basket is a perfect fit for my RTIC cooler. It's extremely durable and well made. (The pictures on the website are an honest depiction of the basket.) A basket that is not solid came with my RTIC cooler, which has been great, but I'm happy to have this basket for when I want to make sure certain items stay dry, including vegetables, medication and dry goods that need to be kept cold.
I will mention that I wish this basket was a bit lighter. For people with an ultra-light cooler (which is what this basket is made for), it's probably a non-issue, but I have the original RTIC 52 QT cooler, not the ultra-light, so my cooler is heavy without anything in it. Once loaded it's very heavy, especially for one person, so every ounce saved in weight makes a difference. With that said, I really like my classic 52 QT RTIC cooler and believe this new basket will be a good addition to my cooler accessories.
