I got this to clean out my water distiller - after I use it a few times, there is a mineral buildup on the bottom of the tank. I could use vinegar but I don't like dealing with that smell. This cleaner seems to clean better than vinegar and without any horrible smell. There is no residue or scale left behind. Although I am pleased with these results, I would like to know what ingredients are in this product. I rinsed my distiller out several times to make sure I cleaned out the cleaner residue, if there was any, so I have no problems using this but I want to know if there are any health concerns related to the ingredients and I have no way of determining that without an ingredient list. I docked a star for that.

I used this for our water cooler in our apartment. Our faucet water is not great and always smells very chlorine-y so we use refillable water jugs.
The directions are very clear, written on the bottles themselves so there is no need to store directions anywhere. The two pack gives you four cleanings (two per bottle) and I think it is really economical.
It is so simple, you just pour it in, pour some water, and then run it through. Literally could not get any easier than that. It extends the lifetime of your water cooler by reducing buildup. It also keeps you healthy by making sure you aren't drinking any grime.
I have not been able to notice any sort of taste or smell to the water afterward. To be honest, I couldn't even really smell the product on its own with no dilution. It has a faint scent that resembles hair dye to me. I really don't know what chemicals are in this thing and I couldn't find any information online either.
I believe it works and I would highly recommend this.

We have a water cooler in our office and honestly I never thought about cleaning it. We have an ice machine as well, but you can see the buildup inside of that so I know when it needs cleaning - I just never thought about the cooler. It probably should have been cleaned long before now! This product is super easy to use and the instructions are clear. Once we did the cleaning, we flushed it a few times (I always flush at least once more than the recommend) and the water tastes great.
Does a great job, rinses clean and leaves no aftertaste or bad smell.

I've got a different kind of water cooler and dispenser setup, but this is still great at removing that slimy biofilm buildup. You get the two 8oz bottles and you get two uses per bottle, but you don't need to use these so frequently that it's cost-prohibitive, but frankly good health is priceless and I'd rather use these from time to time than risk getting some infection from whatever is growing in my water cooler and tubing. It works great and flushes clean with no smell or aftertaste. The one thing I'm confused on is disposal since they say its harmful to aquatic life and to avoid release to the environment on the bottle. Can I pour it in the toilet or down any drain if all that ends up out in the environment eventually? Who knows. But it works great and I recommend it
