I just used the Westinghouse 15" Universal Surface Cleaner Attachment for the first time, and I'm really impressed! I bought it on Amazon for around $46.00

I was a little worried it might be difficult to use, but it was actually very straightforward. It attached easily to my pressure washer (make sure yours is compatible!) and felt sturdy while I was cleaning.

Here's what I loved:

Speeds up cleaning: This attachment made cleaning my backyard concrete floor and driveway so much faster than using just the pressure washer wand. The 15-inch cleaning diameter covers a good amount of ground, and it felt like I was making much better progress.

Easy to maneuver: Even though it has a decent cleaning area, the attachment itself is lightweight and easy to move around. My arms weren't nearly as tired as they usually are after pressure washing for a while.

Seems durable: The attachment feels well-made and like it should hold up for a long time.

Overall, I'm really happy with this purchase! If you're looking for a way to cut down on pressure washing time for large flat surfaces, I highly recommend the Westinghouse 15" Surface Cleaner Attachment.

Worked great to clear off my smooth concrete patio. Wasn't strong enough to clean the front driveway with embedded rock, but that probably is just the reality for 1st use since I ended up needing the 15 degree nozzle to clean off all the stuff growing in between the pebbles. I expect it will do a solid job on that the next time, my patio and driveway have been accumulating dirt, moss, and lichen for 15 years so this was going to be a difficult test for any unit. I was concerned that the 15" unit wouldn't have the pressure to clean when hooked up with a 2500 psi pressure washer (bought this along with EPX3500) since it was at the bottom end of the recommended range, but on smooth concrete it did fantastic. I considered the 12" unit but I didn't like the limited cleaning area and the amount of plastic parts on that attachment and I was concerned the 16.5" wheeled metal attachment would have a lot of trouble navigating the embedded pebble rock of my driveway and the 2500 psi max pressure would be below the recommended range. I am very happy with my choice. All the pressure parts are metal, the heads are angled to clean well, the unit is easy to manuever, and the plastic shroud does just fine for containing overspray.

This thing is a game changer relative to using a standard pressure washer nozzle. It cleans my outdoor porcelain patio tiles more than 4 times faster than the standard nozzles I was using previously! The last few years have been particularly long and wet winters in Northern California, causing a lot of really stubborn dirt build-up on the tile surface. Every spring, I normally spend hours with the pressure washer cleaning my patio, but this year I used the surface cleaner for the first time and was blown away by how fast and effortless it was.

In use, the cleaner is quite easy to maneuver as it floats over the surface on a water cushion. Thanks to the plastic housing and the brush skirt at the bottom, the spray is well contained. The system felt well balanced -- both in terms of the rotating nozzle assembly and the general maneuverability.

The Westinghouse PWSC12 12" Surface Cleaner is one of the smallest and also one of the least expensive models I could find -- perfect for my needs and relatively infrequent use. The quality is good considering the price, but it's clearly a light-duty unit and it's a pretty simple product -- a plastic body around a pretty basic spinning nozzle assembly. I have no reference points of more robust/professional surface cleaners for comparison, but I would guess that people who have very large areas to clean and/or will be using it on a very frequent basis should probably consider getting a higher end version. But if your use case is to clean small areas a few times per year, this is an excellent value... even more so when when considering the time savings.

This surface cleaner is a great addition and cleans well, although it is a bit difficult to push around. If you go too quickly, it leaves swirl marks (a second pass always worked). Would definitely buy again.
