We love dice games in our house and I am so glad I selected Trash Dice. This was such a fun and easy-to-learn game.
Pros
- It is self-contained in a small portable, package.
- The dice are clear and easy to read.
- Easy to learn rules.
- Each game session is fast allowing the entire family to take turns playing.
Cons
- The name was off-putting for me.
- Not sure if the dice are properly weighted (we had one game where neither player rolled a one; while this is probable, it seems very unlikely to happen). We might try the game with different dice.
I would definitely recommend this game! It was fun for our 8-year-old and us as parents.

I opened this game and introduced it to my 1st grader and gotta say, this is one of the most fun games we have. It's NOT a math game, so don't be fooled into thinking it's particularly educational. But it's fun, fast paced, and engaging. The trash can is a fun twist--not just a container but you're actually throwing the dice in the trash which is a crowd pleaser. It's a really simple game to understand so pretty little kids will be quickly comfortable playing, and gotta say even as a 41 year old I found it pretty entertaining. Games are finished within 5 minutes and it's super easy set up and cleanup. This far exceeded my expectations for a game. Yes, you can play this with a set of dice--you don't NEED the trash can by any means. But it's useful for keeping track of the dice and handy storage. If you can stomach the idea of a little extra plastic in your house, this is a no brainer of a purchase!
