This unit is not bad for the money. They seem to take a little pride in their product.
I am a contractor who may use this unit once or twice a month. I did some asphalt patching and it worked well. Pros: manuverable with wheels,started first pull,medium duty work it is great.Cons:muffler cage came off first day,I replaced the bolts with my own with lock washers. throttle bracket is useless,throttle works well but must be zip tied in place. This unit is NOT SHIPPED WITH OIL! I pulled the dipstick and was fooled because there was oil residue on it from factory testing. Luckily there is a huge yellow tag saying "fill with oil dummy!"

Home Depot charges $100/day to rent a compactor that's over 200lbs and needs two people to load it into your vehicle and the handle doesn't fold down so unless you have a pick up truck then it's not a viable option. I felt at that price and inconvenience I'd just buy a cheap one and this one has delivered the goods. I've read reviews about the carburetor flooding but I haven't had any problems. I just turn the engine switch to Off and immediately push the fuel delivery lever to off and have started this thing over ten times so far without any problems. Seems like you always need the choke to be open to start it so try that. Nice little compactor for light duty work which is what I bought it for.

For the price of a 3 day rental you can own this one. Have 10 hrs on mine and is perfect so far. Fires up on first pull and is nothing but impressive. Works as well as a 1500 dollar one for 1/3 of the price.
