Excellent for teaching upper and lower case letters

These cute animals are very sturdy plastic. They pull apart and go together easily enough for a 2.7 year old to manage. The colors are vibrant and the letters easy to read. These could be used for a long time. The child can match the animal halves as well as learn the upper and lower case alphabet or play "zoo" with them. . They are appropriate for ages 2.5 to 6. This would be a very nice long lasting gift. The animals come in a cardboard box and my granddaughter loves to put them in and out of the box which so far has been sturdy enough to keep using over and over.

The animals are small but perfectly fit in my 1 year olds hand so I think they are the perfect size. I like that this helps with uppercase and lowercase letters because a lot of teaching alphabet things only focus on uppercase. We will play with these a ton!

These were a pleasant surprise! Would make a great gift. I put these to use in my preschool classroom and the children loved them. I like that the letters are clear and easy to read, no blurriness. The colors are bright, and the animals are adorable. The older kids loved matching the letters and we discussed upper and lowercase. All of the children enjoyed just playing with the animals and taking them apart and putting them together. Regardless of whether a child is at a developmental stage to learn letter names, these animals are a fun way to introduce exposure to letters and animal names.

They have proven to be suitable for my 2.5-year-old grandson, but I have found them less appropriate for my 17-month-old, who still puts everything in his mouth.
