If you are looking to tattoo in increments, I would definitely use this product an hour at a time. I applied this heavily at 7am - 4 hours before my appointment, and wrapped in plastic wrap. Come my appointment we knocked out a small tattoo on my arm and started on my large side piece (pic for reference). Had little to no pain the ENTIRE time, and when I did I used a spray I ordered to keep it up. Come 10pm I still had little pain. By 11:10 when we finished I was kinda sore and had a dull burn, but was sooo impressed. And I know it was effective cause once it completely wore off around midnight I was miserable. 1000% recommend, if I could give for stars than just 5 they absolutely earned it.

I applied the cream an hour and a half before the my session, then again 30 minutes prior, and covered in plastic. I was able to sit through two tattoos. I had never used numbing creams in the past but I won't do without next time. Why sit through the pain when you don't have to?! I knew it was working when the arm piece (which turned out to be bigger than I had originally planned) extended outside the numbing region. lol. I felt that!
I am truly amazed. Wonderful product I would recommend to anyone!!
