Perfectly caressed the rod, protecting it from outside elements. Very happy with the blue color. It's darker than sky blue but brighter than the ocean blue. Optimal length and with young fishermen, we like that it floats! Top-notch purchase! You can't go wrong.

It's hard to beat what the competition has. I like this and used it for my 7'1 casting rod. This is a nice product as well. Price is decent.

My rods can get beat up just placing them in my suv when I head out to go kayak fishing . Having 3-4 rods rattling around can be annoying and doesn't do the rods any good. I'm trying out both the Chinese finger trap style and these neoprene rod sleeves to see which type I want to use long term. These are certainly heavier duty than the other style and should protect the blank and guides better. Also the rod tip is unlikely to poke through the material like it can with the net like material in the other kind. Stitching was precise and reinforced at the end and a nice bungee strap to lock sleeve to reel. I use predominantly 6'6" rods in my kayak so went with small which was 60" long. I bought the casting rod model but was able to fit a spinning rod into it as shown in the picture. Guessing that would depend on the size of your guides. Just wish there were a few other colors , would have liked an orange model for high visibility so I don't step on or close a door on rods.

I got the casting version of this sleeve, and it falls about an inch or two short of where I hoped it would end - but that's on me; the measurements are in the listing.
The sleeve is thick and heavy, and will surely protect my one piece rods. The stitching is well done and looks nice. I have no doubt about the performance of this sleeve, but I will order the longer one next time. The rod in the image is a 7'0" one piece, casting rod.

I bought this because of the material it is made from. Better protection than the thin rod socks and hooks don't hang up in it.
