• •Dielectric grease is a waterproof, non-conductive grease that's used to protect electrical components from corrosion and moisture. It's also known as tune-up grease.
• •It is advised to use dielectric grease on electrical connectors to prevent corrosion and ease assembly. Apply only on the outside of the connection, not between the metal terminals themselves. Apply a thin coat to the connector's exterior and seals after plugging in, or inside the rubber boots (like for spark plugs) to prevent sticking and moisture, protecting the system during harsh use.
