• •WATERPROOF: The Dry Duffel has an IPX6 waterproof rating, which means the bag can withstand heavy rain, splashing, or waves, but it is not rated for extended submersion under water. Both the front pocket and main compartment are waterproof. NOTE: The waterproof zippers and air release valve must be fully closed to prevent water intrustion. Sensitive items, such as mobile phones and cameras, carried in the Dry Duffel should always be double enclosed and preferably in a hard case.
• •OPTIMIZED FOR OUTDOOR TRAVEL: Fully detachable backpack straps, multiple haul grips double as tie-down points, large top opening for easy access, plus front and interior pockets to aid in gear organization. The compression straps wrap around the bottom of the bag and therefore enable carrying gear bulky gear -- such as fishing poles and paddles -- on the outside of the bag.
• •RUGGED CONSTRUCTION: Main body features 500D PVC coated polyester (REACH compliant), and waterproof zippers with easy to grab T-pulls. Key hardware, such as the backpack carabiners and D-rings, are made of coated metal, not the standard plastic prone to breaking. The air release valve aids in the removal of excess air to faciltate the bag's compression or additional air may be added to the bag to assist with floatation if there is risk of the bag falling into the water.
• •MULTIPLE SIZES: The Small / 40L is best for day outings or heavy gear. The Medium / 55L is the frequent choice for a carrying a variety of gear on longer trips. The Large / 75L is suited for extended outdoor advertures or hauling bulky items. The bags vary by length according to size, but all have the same width and height dimensions.
