An excellent handbook for entry level locators and supervisors alike.

Good solid information and locate theory. Jeff is very detailed, reviewing all the utilities. Good reference material for new locators or those with experience.

I'm a rookie when it comes to locating utilities, just started with a surveying firm in Orlando 3 months ago. This book is a MUST have for not only beginners but a great reference for experienced locators as well. I'm a hands on learner myself but this book answers and explains the who, what, when, where, why and how....with pictures and diagrams.
It's actually a good read too, NOT dry and boring like a typical textbook.

Thanks for taking the time to write and publish a book like this. Its the only book I could find in this line of work and you did a great job. I like how you cover the past present and future. Its been a big help for me who's new to the industry and I really enjoy it. I like to be able to answers all of the questions asked by clients, supervisors, co-workers and passerbys and your book has helped me do so.

I am just learning about locators and have found bits and pieces of information on the internet. This book is the complete guide to locating. It is written in an engaging way that keeps me reading, but at the same time teaching technical skills. I 100% recommend this book.

This was okay for the price, it was ordered for a work related progect. It was missing some information but it was an okay informational book.
