A wise upgrade for us.

My husband and I play this game almost daily. We've worn out two previous games in the last year and decided to try this deluxe version at Christmas time. The "board" is considerable more substantial as it's made of a heavy-weight vinyl that rolls up instead of folds eliminating the necessary bends in the regular model. It also survived a red wine spill, wiped up nicely with no staining problem.
We find that the reverse side of the chips is hard to see, so we're using the chips from our old set.

Hours of fun. A friend has the reg version. This one is much easier to see and the board and chips are much better. Like having the ability to flip chips to white when you have a "sequence".

Great game, but when I ordered the deluxe I thought the game board would be large, but it is not it would be great for 2 people on a small table.

Wasn't what I expected. Item description didn't really describe how small the game mat/board is. Found it to be dissapointing due to the fact that my eyesight isn't quite what it used to be! (LOL!) I was able to find and purchase the game with a large, Jumbo, mat, through Christian Book Store. Makes all the difference when playing with these old eyes!
I will keep the game and most likely give it as a Christmas gift. So all is not lost!
