Says it should fit my ladder but it doesn't. ...

Says it should fit my ladder but it doesn't. The safety locking pin can't be put through because the D rung of the ladder is in the way. I'll have to drill a new hold in the plate so the pin can get by the rung. Even called Werner and confirmed that it should fit my ladder but it just doesn't.
I like them.

I was first bothered by their very light weight. I don't trust crawling up light weight things 20' in the air. But they really hold up well. No issues so far. We use these on 300lb rated 32' aluminum extension ladders and they work great. The quick attatch/detach works well, is fool proof and seems perfectly safe. I'd reccamend these for anybody really. From a professional to a homeowner. Especially if you get nervous in the air. These will greatly improve your ladders stability if nothing else.
So I'll have to wait to use the stabilizer on my ladder to get on my roof but I've used one before and they work great.

I have not used the stabilizer yet because I was out of town on a job when all the leaves finished falling. And it started snowing before I got back. So I'll have to wait to use the stabilizer on my ladder to get on my roof but I've used one before and they work great.
Must have for extension ladder work.

Just finished painting the house. This has been a godsend ladder attachment for working on the gable ends. It keeps you at the right distance to work, yet not interfere with brushing underneath the ladder. It has a hook for hanging a pail, but I needed to create a table on top of it for my paint tray.
Makes painting easier with a narrow ladder.
