Wow! It's great to have sharp knives again. We love it! Now our favorites knives can be sharpened whenever needed. I wish we hadn't waited so long to get this. We had one twenty-five years ago, and should have replaced it immediately when it wore out.

I have used it several times on different size knives and with some practice I get sharp knives. This model is one of very few that will sharpen a pocket knife blade very close to the grip. My only complaint is that it thinned the blade on my pocket knife noticeably. Since there was no instruction manual with my unit, I found the you-tube videos helpful.

Does a good job of sharpening but not as good as someone that really knows how to use a stone to sharpen a knife. Unfortunately I am one of those people that cannot sharpen a knife by hand. It could do a better job of really sharpening a knife, but I would buy it again
