i replaced the harbor freight blade with this one and works like a charm. no burning, no smoke, and clean cuts.

razor sharp- 10000x better than the ryobi one my "biscuit cutter" came with. I hardly ever use this machine anyway but for the price- I felt like this was a very good purchase. The biscuit cutter is one of those things that I got super excited about- bought it- and my enthusiasm immediately plummeted after I used it a few times and realized how cumbersome and difficult it is--and for a joint that is marginal to begin with. I went back to doing what I should have been doing all along- joinery- ie box/finger joints, dovetails, rabbets and similar instead of relying on a tiny piece of pressed wood. I do use it for things like pocket hole joints (Kreg) to give them a little more stability ---other wise I dont use it. HOWEVER---if you do use it- buy this blade. You will be much happier with your machine--if that is possible.

cuts well like any other freud blade. went cheap on the joiner but spend extra on the blade.

Replaced an original Freud bit in an old JS100. Works like a charm, cuts quickly and easilly.

Wicked sharp and churns through material like butter.
