Best in class Painter's Tape!

I have purchased this tape multiple times to use for a variety of wall/trim paint projects around our condo. It does an amazing job in holding to surfaces firmly without concern of damaging nor peeling when removing, even after extended periods of application. The tape does well to allow for clean lines without concerns of any paint bleeding through the edges.
I have used the tape on walls, wood trim, metal window frames, carpet, etc. and the tape has performed incredibly well every time, standing up to plenty of traffic and wear during the course of projects. I made the mistake at one point of opting to use the marginally less expensive in-house Home Depot painter's tape and could not have regretted it more. You could tell immediately the tape had far less stickiness to it and it basically kept coming off the walls and floor through almost the entire project! I have been loyal to ScotchBlue ever since!!
This tape is also great for random other uses like tagging objects/surfaces around the home without fear of causing damage. Also great for bundling random tools/parts for storage and easily tearing off when needed.

This tape is the one I go to whenever I need to hold something for a short time. I like how easy it is to use and see. I had placed a motion sensor bulb into our overhead light in the hall so we wouldn't have to turn the light on and off every time we went to/from the garage. However we had become use to using the switch, so to break that habit I put a 4 inch strip over the switches. Yes, easy to see and soon we may remove that tape. I also use it to tape down my soldering iron power line so the weight of the switch and wire won't pull it off the table. It's also handy to tape close small containers so the parts don't spill when stored.
No bleeding and clean lines when pulled up

I used this tape to stain my staircase. I needed to protect my white spindles, as well as the white trim that connected to the bottom rail. I will say though, because I was using a stain, I wasn't sure how well this tape was going to protect or how clean a line it was going to give, so I doubled up in most spots. I also used this tape to protect my carpet, because at the top of my staircase landing there is carpeting that butts up against the bottom rail that also needed to be stained. So I doubled up with this painters tape and not one drop of stain got on my carpet. When I was done staining (2 coats plus 1 topcoat of polyurethane), the tape pulled up without any issues and provided very clean lines. I didn't have any issues for those few areas where I didn't double up, too, so I was very pleased with that. Very reliable tape for my project!
Multi-purpose.

What can I say about a regular roll of tape.
I thought I ordered automotive tape because that's what I typed into the search engine. One click led to another and apparently I bought painter's tape, whoops! But is there even a difference?
This roll was used for taping off rubber and vinyl trim on my car for compounding and polishing. It is labeled painter's tape, and I noticed that if the tape was left on for a couple hours, specifically on the clearcoating of my car's paint, it left a very fine line of adhesive. This was easily buffed out with a microfiber cloth and even then I was using a polishing compound anyway, so it was gone quick. Just thought I would note that.
This is some wide tape! Close to 2" wide tape is giant for exterior car trim!

I have found this a good tape for painting but with some qualifications. It is very sticky compared with other brands which has pluses and minuses. On the plus side you can make razor sharp lines between one paint and another with this tape. Also, there rarely is any bleed under the tape and it comes off with no residue whatever. On the minus, it is harder to manipulate and place and sometimes harder to remove--especially if you try to strip a really long line of tape from a wall to ceiling junction all in one piece.. I also think that the tape is a bit on the thin side, and thus tends to tear off mid-piece a bit more often when removing it than some others. Because of the latter concern I would not use it again for really high, hard to reach ceiling masking.Otherwise: very satisfied.
