Denzel Washington is riveting as Herman Boon, an African-American football coach of newly-combined and racially-diverse high school in Virginia. Boone and the iconic and beloved football coach Bill Yoast (Will Patton) who is demoted to defense coach must overcome their differences and turn a disparate group of hostile high school football players from two high schools into a team. Molding the players and dealing with bigotry, the coaches mold the Titans football team into champions. This movie will make you wince, cheer, cry, and embrace it.

Good movie. Stand test of time.

I have watched this at least 4 times. I should buy it and just stop renting it. It has EVERYthing to do with race and integration and the South. Where and when I grew up. If you are a neo-Nazi or white supremacist, rent the movie, so they can make a couple bucks off your undereducated, socially backward, red neck gluteus maximus.

Great family movie and it was based on true events this movie is great for the whole family to watch
