Expensive but worth it for me. This is the best of the best. Works great on my induction stove top. The flared top edge is the best for pouring. That's a feature that is easy to dismiss until you try it. Then you wonder why everything isn't made this way.

This is part of my second set that I had to purchase after my EX-wife stole my large set I used to have. They were 3-ply, so, I upgraded with both my cookware and my EX. ;) I love it very much. Cooks evenly...heats fast. I'm very happy with their product. I hear they have 7-ply now. Really? Frankly I don't notice that much of an improvement over my 3-ply, but it is an improvement. It would be a hard sell for me to ever go with the 7-ply. If you have the cash...go for it!

Love my copper core all clad 8qt. Stockpot, works great on my induction cook top, read the instruction on how to cook, maintain and clean with bar keepers friend and there will be no problems with this stainless Steel pot, heats evenly, food turns out great and easy clean up if the care instructions are followed. I am in progress of putting a set together one piece at a time and buying the sizes that I prefer instead of buying a set and having peices that I will not use. I am putting the money in the peices I will use the most, a little more expensive but well worth the price!

Received this as part of my wedding gift, I am so glad I picked this set to go with. My only issue was picking the right sized pots/pans for what I typically do. The 8 quart is a bit big for any of the steamer inserts I had, so end up still using my other pot for that kind of stuff. For all other things that you could possibly need a giant pot for, this one is superb. It's so easy to clean, very tough and looks awesome even after lots of use. Not sure that I am technical or studious to notice the exact difference between a copper core pot and the other options out there but I have to say it does seem to heat up very evenly along the bottom and the edges aren't any cooler even though the flames don't reach that far, also gets to a boil seemingly faster than my other pots.. but haven't timed it, just going off of perception.
It's expensive as all hell but top of the line, if you have the money to blow or are getting registry items for a 'last set of stuff I'll ever use' look no further. They are a dream to use.
