Puts out at LOT of air. Keep them in every room for when it's so hot the AC isn't enough.

We bought this exact same fan a few years ago and loved it. That fan lasted for three and a half years using it every single night. So naturally when that fan starting to go out on us we replaced it with the same fan. We bought it in January, it's now almost four months old and it sounds worse than our old fan! Very disappointed with the fan WE JUST BOUGHT!
You don't turn it on, you start it up! lol

I just received my jet engine fan today lol. It's called the blizzard for a reason. It puts out some serious wind! That's why I'm keeping it because I live in Florida and summer is approaching. However, I have it on low now and it is very loud. This is good and bad for me. I work overnight and sleep during the day, so it will definitely drown out the dog barking and any outside noises within a two block radius. OK, it's not that loud lol, but when I'm not asleep the TV does have to be turned up if I want to know what's going on, and use close-captioning!
Fan sounds like a cheaper fan than it is and it's really not expensive

My partner and I use this fan for white noise while sleeping and this looks to be a common use among reviewers. We have had a number of fans for this purpose and this one is no good. The fan is certainly on the loud side which wouldn't nesessarily a problem if it wasn't such corse noise. I realize it is a cheap fan but I own other similarly priced fans that don't sound this cheap

I use fans for white noise at night. This little guy does the job perfectly!
