Poorly redesigned product not shown in photos.

Overall, it's an okay hole saw kit. Nothing special. certainly not as good as the Lennox kits I normally use. But the deal breaker, and the reason I am retuning this is the mandrel for the two smallest saws. BTW: the mandrel that comes with this kit is not the mandrel shown in the photo. It was redesigned and it is ridiculously large, long, heavy and cumbersome. It's even biger and heavier than the one provided for the larger hole saws. I am an electrical contractor. When I design an electrical system I of course need to make it work well but I also need to design it so it works well for the people who use it. Dealt made something that works. They didn't consider the people who will use it.

Looked like good quality but had a hard time drilling through 20ga metal wall studs. I averaged 2 cuts per hole saw. Had hard time cutting wood also. I ordered replacement thinking it was a bad batch but the replacement did the same thing. If you need to cut more than s few holes buy carbide. I learned the hard way.
Nice kit. So far so good.

Impressive quality so far. Not inexpensive, but as long as the teeth stay sharp and the fancy spring loaded arbors don't malfunction after commercial use, it seems a good value as a handy, consolidated kit for field electricians. I've used only the 2-1/2' through 1/16" steel so far and it was quick and sharp and cut with ease. The case is Dewalt solid as expected.
Good simple kit with Quick Release, You will have to stop frequently to remove build up in the teeth.

I have a nice Hole Saw kit I bought a few years ago but me being me, I don't remember where I put it in my house. So I wasn't looking for an expensive kit as I will eventually find my original hole saw kit one day.
What draw my attention to this kit is of course the name brand "Dewalt" and the price of only $44. Next what I really wanted is a Quick Release kit as I hate having to turn the knob to lock in the pins.
So far I personally like this kit and I don't necessary use it for thick metals. What I did notice is the teeth on Dewalts hole saw is shallow and not deep enough. What that means is that I had to stop frequently to remove the build up that was stuck in between the teeth. Once you remove the build up, it will continue to cut fine.
I also bought the Lowes Brand "Kobalt" and the teeth on the saw is deeper which means you don't have to stop to get the build up out.But the Lowes brand is typical in that its not stable and wobbles a bit as you can see in the video.

Not so good

Nice assortment. However the first 3 hole saws I used the teeth broke off on the first use. I am familiar with hole saws as I have been an electrician, both in the US Navy and in civilian life for over 45 years. These are not for any moderate or semi-heavy use.
