I looked at several different pots before settling on this one. Performance wise it functioned as expected or better. My only complaint would be that the cord easily seperates from the temperature dial.

This is perfect for the annual New Years Fondue my family and I enjoy. I really have not had any problems with the magnetic plug either and after a few years of using it, it still works great.

Really enjoyed using this product... Bought it as a gift... all the items were in the box and was really impressed with how the item worked... No Complaints... Shipping issues though

High quality non-stick coating (I've used it a few times already and have had to clean it, so I can tell)

I think my favorite feature has to be the removable plug and temperature gauge. It's of a much higher quality than other appliances in this category (like fry daddy's, etc) Very accurate and responsive.

The handles are formed comfortably so you can confidently move it from kitchen to table, and the 3- quart size really is ideal for a fondue for 2-6 people.

Received quickly even during the holiday rush. I've used non-electric fondue pots in the past, and hate the sterno or cheap fuel holders. This electric one is excellent! Used for a broth fondue, and worked perfectly. I appreciated not having to prep the broth in one pan and move it to the pot for keeping warm. Temp stayed consistent. Later we did a chocolate fondue, again prepping direct in this pot. Towards the end of the chocolate fondue grubbing, I did need to keep an eye on the temp and adjust several times to keep the chocolate from burning. Turning a dial a few times versus managing a messy fuel cup? No contest.

After reading the reviews, we did use an extension cord, and wrapped the excess length around a table leg. Worked great.
