Throwing out a soggy paper mess every morning sucks. This Krups filter is a great alternative. However, you will need to grind your own coffee on a coarser setting or you will get grounds in your coffee. Anything, that is already ground from the store might be too 'fine' and a little will get into the pot. Nothing huge, but enough that you will see and sometimes taste if you empty your cup, and who doesn't, right? I have a grinder just buy whole beans and use a coarser setting and that helps. Your coffee will taste fresher if you grind your own beans anyway.
Downside, of course is cleaning that filter everyday, but it is dishwasher safe so it's not that bad.

The best quality filter I have ever purchased! I have bought several from different brands but this one has a better gold coating that makes the coffee grounds slide off easier! The few extra dollars really pay off in quality of the filter! I plan to continue to pay a little more in the future that will provide a better product and better tasting coffee!
