Read and then measure

I read the measurements and measured my Garmin Drive 60. It is a 6 inch screen so I knew it would fit inside. When I received the carrying case I noticed the problem most people were concerned about, the no padding inside. I purchased a 1 inch thick piece of foam rubber from my local upholstery shop and cut it down to the interior size. By placing the GPS face up on the foam then the base mount next (rubber side down) then the power cord. The USB cord fits in the side zipper cord. Everything fits snug inside the bag. I personally like the size of the bag where some did not in other reviews. I really think it is a bit pricey but what is not these days.

It's a little "snug fitting" as some of the other reviews have noted. It's probably better for the smaller garmins (C330, C340 etc.). But for some of the older larger ones, there's probably just enough space for the main unit only and not enough space for the dashboard mount etc.
I have a C340 so it works fine for me. Good finish, decent construction and convenient, though fitting the dashboard and the car charger along with the main unit takes a few seconds of readjusting. I usually leave the dashboard mount on the dashboard itself so not really a problem.

Garmin Deluxe Carrying Case for StreetPilot and GPSMap 176 (010-10231-01) systems
After reading some reviews about this case I was a bit aprehensive about buying one but I have no problems with mine at all. I was going on a trip and I needed something to securely store my Streetpilot c340 and all it's accesories. The bag is big enough for the unit, the power cord and the suction mount with a little space left over. There are pockets on the sides for extra stuff as well. I stocked mine with an assortment of first aid supplies. This bag is worth the money.
Additional: 6/9/2022 I've now owned this bag for 15 years and it's still going strong. The GPS is long gone and now I use it primarily for carrying cords and power supplies and some other doodads but for what it is and what I paid, it's phenomenal. I don't even know if they are still available but if you can get your hands on one, do it!

small but great protection

When I saw this bag, I thought "wow, this is so tiny"...but it is great protection for the Garmin 2720 Streetpilot. Some people throw their GPS in the glove compartment but if you want to protect your investment, you should carry it out of your car when you are exit. Some owners carry their GPS in their gym bag, purse or some other type of bag. While ordering, I didn't know if this was a necessary investment. After great thought, I decided to purchase it because of the protection the bag offers on the bottom surface, with a hard plastic surface. The instructions state to place the GPS screen faced down onto the bottom, to keep it protected. As a result, I cannot see how the GPS thrown into a large bag can be protected. If you wrap the GPS in a towel, and then into a larger bag, you may lose or drop it, forgetting you have it in the bag. It depends on how much you want to protect your initial investment of your GPS. I recommend the bag.
