Sorry when I got this unit that I notice that the chrome trim on the toggle switch was OFF, and that when I first try to recorded that it did record however it not record fully, it kept pausing for 2 seconds, and then got worst from 2 seconds to 20 to 30 seconds, this unit was a lemon, and I had to take it to my trip to Japan, expecting that it would sound good but I was wrong, it kept giving these problems, and could fast forward either. I am going to get another one, this time from a dealer not from a person. Person that sold it to me did not told me the truth about pausing on the playback, and not to mention in recording the settings kept going back from long to short play.
