The description for this product could use some editing. In one place it states the product is made in China, but one of the pictures says it's made in Germany, and in the "more data" section it also says country of origin is Germany. I didn't know what to believe, so I went ahead and ordered it hoping they were made in Germany. Unfortunately, that is not the case. I included a picture that shows it being made in China.
I will keep these bits and see how they perform in the long run. I got some similar bits from Dewalt that did come from Germany, so I will be able to compare them. I may adjust my ratings in the future.

The drill bit set is great! But whomever designed the metal box needs their butt kicked. The case will slam closed on your fingers.

Having need of a new portable drill, I found a well liked/reviewed
Dewalt DC759 18-volt 1/2-inch Cordless Drill/Driver (Bare Tool) offered at a good price, even I can afford.
To my great delight I was actually sent a
Dewalt DC725 18-volt 1/2-inch Cordless Hammer Drill/Driver (Bare Tool)
A much newer and more costly hand drill.
So I figured I could get a new set of drill bits and I ordered this one from Dewalt.
I am not surprised by the drill bit quality (expected from Dewalt) but the hinged carry box the bits came in is sturdier and nicer inclusion than I expected. That is why this is a bargain purchase.
