Great product, wish it was made a little better

It works great for what I intended to use it for, which was holding a piece of paper next to the monitor. But over a few days the arm will drop some and the position changes. Also 1 was broken when I got it and took a screw to fix it, because I wasn't trying to find a UPS location to return a single $8 item.
Extremely strong clips.

Both of the clips on this product are extremely strong which is great for the clip that holds onto the monitor but not so great for the clip holding onto the piece of paper (unless you have very large strong hands with no arthritis or carpal tunnel syndrome). I'll need to find a different product that isn't so hard to use.
Thick Monitors BEWARE!

First and foremost - I had to return this. NOT because it didn't work, per say, but because the clamp just didn't' open wide enough to fit my monitors or my desk stand. I had seen a co worker use them at my last job, but my last job had brand new, thin monitors. My current job is in a municipality so our devices range from 7-15 years old so they're thicker. I'm not sure why they needed me to rate the "adhesion". From what I remember, it did not have or need anything to adhere to? The sturdiness got 4 stars because the neck, although it IS supposed to be moveable and malleable, it seemed to droop when I tested it by holding in one hand and putting about 5 pieces of paper in the clip (which, probably makes sense, as maybe it's only supposed to hold one or two pieces, max?)
Just as it is advertized

This does what I wanted it to do - hold pages while I'm typing on my computer. Note that the clip will not hold on an edge that is too wide, so don't expect too much of it. But it holds to the side of a regular thin monitor, or a shelf, just fine. And it holds the page snugly and twists into the position you want.
Cool gadget
