Just got it today... I LOVE the smell of leather. Not too overpowering. Everything is as described: color, texture, smell, and robust features. As a person who's used messenger bags for the last 15 years I can say this is definitely going to be my new favorite. I've yet to officially use it for 24 hours though 😂. I do consider myself a strong individual and this bag is definitely on the heavier side. Leather packs some weight onto it. I have my 13" MacBook Pro late 2016 model and a 350+ page Human Anatomy text book. I've had the same set up in my canvas messenger bag and the weight difference is significant compared to this Leather bag. I don't mind but most people are not as big (318lbs) as I am, so I thought I'd write it on here for anyone interested in this bag.
Negatives: as I've said above it's a little on the heavier side. But this is hardly a negative. leather is heavier. Hopefully this helps guys! Enjoy!

BEWARE!! Oils from leeather gets on everything!

This bag is handsome enough!! It looks nice...and looks relatively well put together. The problem ..which is quite significant..is that it bleeds on everything. My husband just told me today...and he had used this for about a year...is that it stained the rental car seat. It gets in his jeans when he flies. I just have never seen a leather make such a mess.
If it had not been so long since I purchased it I would definitely would have returned it. I had bought it for him as a gift so he was reluctant I guess to tell me immediately of the issues.

I'm reviewing this bag even though I'm not keeping it. The quality is OUTSTANDING and it is a beautiful work of art. But somehow I had this brilliant idea that a 16" laptop bag would be a good idea ... even though I only have a 14" laptop. So yeah, when this arrived I knew immediately it was too big for my needs. Duh! It pained me to send it back because it truly is gorgeous and I couldn't stop touching the leather. Soft, supple and high quality leather. I'll be replacing this one with the smaller version but just wanted to leave a review to make sure you check the measurements carefully before you order.
Great until hardware broke but customer service stepped up!!!

After only four months the metal hardware has fallen apart. Before that I loved the bag but wish it was able to handle basic use
*** Update - after posting my review I received a message from the seller offering to replace the broken strap (it was past the Amazon return period but has a warranty that I was unaware of) AMAZING customer service and I get my favorite work bag back!
