This is the second Hoover Carpet cleaner (bought it twice) and the first one was great and lasted more than a year with weekly use. This second one I purchased 40 days ago and it is already broken and Amazon and seller will not allow it to be returned.
"steam" cleaner; not

In my opinion, this product has some false description/advertising. When I purchased it, the name (same as what was on the box), stated "steam" cleaner. It does not heat water at all, and of course you cannot put steam in it. It is a hot water carpet cleaner. One also needs to not overheat the water you put in. If you put in 140 degrees or better, then the plastic reservoir may start leaking. Then you might have scalding hot water issue to fix. It is a good carpet cleaner; its not a steam cleaner.

I have had several of these over the years because I have a child with incontenents. Works well for quite a while. THis one is the comercial one; doesn't have hose. Works fine
