I love this and have very few complaints. It wasn't expensive and it does the job! I feel like with any guillotine cutter there is a learning curve to get a "feel" for how to cut with it so do some trial runs first before cutting something super important.

Found it very lightweight and portable, but it doesn't cut perfectly straight. Easy to assemble (affix the handle and release the lock), delivered in two days, and the price is ok (for jobs not requiring exactitude in measurements).

I was a little worried about purchasing an inexpensive paper trimmer as I needed to cut a lot of magnetic sheets. This one, however, does the job with ease. It is lightweight and easy to use. It cuts through the magnets with no trouble at all. I cannot imagine what it would have been like to do all of that cutting with a scissors. Thankfully, I don't have to find out.

I love it! However, it was not protected with an additional Amazon box. Only the thin original box which was damaged and open on one end. Why would you send a product in this manner? Very lucky, the product was not damaged!

I love the Swingline Paper Trimmer. I use a heavier stockcard paper. It cuts well. No problems. I use the handle lock when not in use and store it in a convenient place on its side. I love that it is light weight. I use it on a table with a cloth. It stays in place just fine. I trim one sheet of paper at a time because I want to make sure the cut is precise.
