Liked my older version better because it was much quieter, but this comes with more add on tools, so a decent compromise. Plus I had no choice :-) ! Still more compact and easier to pack for travel. Battery life has never been a strong suit of these, but good enough for sort trips.

This little trimmer has a lot of great features. It lasts a long time on a charge, it charges fast, it can be used with the cord when battery is low, its fairly quiet, its compact for travel, its easy to clean. My only issue with it is the combs and attachments don't work all that well on a thick beard. I have to keep my beard short for work regulations. If it starts to get a bit long, this little trimmer misses a lot of hair when I try and trim down my entire beard. That is my only gripe with it. I'm to the point that when I need to do a full trim down, I get out my full size corded Wahl and use that.
