Bike Stand

I was gifted two bikes and needed an affordable outdoor storage setup. I opted for this two-bike bike stand and a two-bike cover.
Setup: The directions are sparse, but the assembly isn't difficult. One of the threads on a vertical bar was difficult to screw into, but I got it in the end. Neither crossbar screw screwed all of the way in, so they're sticking out on a new product, which is very disappointing (but just under the annoyance threshold to return it).
Use: I knew the handlebars would be a tight fit going in, so it's an acceptable. I didn't have to screw into a wall, the footprint is small, and the bikes are kept upright -- which was the checklist of what I wanted.

i like the idea and the price but it's a pain to build... also mine looks like it was opened and taped back together. it was missing one of the screws and a circle piece for a screw and the holes were incorrect for one of the bases to the middle bar so i could not even secure them together... too much of a hassle to return so keeping it but if you get one that looks already opened, just return it and try to get another one. it would be a good product if all pieces match up and it not look refurb
Satisfied, but not impressed

The unassembled rack was packaged well. The materials were adequate -- simple tube steel, not very heavy duty. The workmanship was poor, not having anything showing a particular attention to detail, with parts not fitting snugly together, and the threads to accept some of the bolts really had to be worked hard to get the bolts in. The instructions were very poor, with the entire assembly discussed in two steps. Pictures of the parts did not match the actual parts (screws). Luckily, it's pretty simple, so I was able to assemble. I only had to take it apart once to correct an error! Overall, I purchased a cheap bicycle stand, and I received a cheap bicycle stand. I believe it will function adequately. I am satisfied, but not impressed.
Poor machining, but made it work.

As others have mentioned, arrived with poor machining of threading and misaligned/crooked soldering. Thought about returning it, but went ahead and started putting it together. At first, loosely attached bolts just to get the alignment correct and then tightened bolt by bolt. Once done, it sat level and sturdy on the ground despite the manufacturing defects. The poor machining acted like thread lock, so confident the bolts wont come loose. Just needed a bit more elbow grease to put it together. Took about 20 mins in total.
Then tested with my 27.5" mountain bike using both front and rear wheels with 2" wide tires. Both fit well with little play on either side of the rack support bars - pretty stable. Rack did not touch or bang against my 180mm disc brakes or 11sp cassette either. About an 1/8" clearance for the disc brakes and cassette was well clear.
Also, tested with a 20" folding bike and fit with some play on either side of the wheel using the side for a small wheel mount. Worked better using the front wheel. The bike's rear derailleur and storage rack/reflector touched the support bars, so the rear wheel couldnt go all the way in.
Didnt want my bikes scratched and wanted less play, so lined the rack bars with foam pipe insulation for the 20" bike. Then used some foam road bike handlebar tape as wrapping on the bracing for the 27.5" bike. Might consider attaching a 1/2" or 1" pvc pipe to the bottom of the rack to raise the 20" bike's front wheel for a better fit, but ok for now.
Lastly, this was the lowest priced one compared with two other brands with similar looking racks. Appears this rack is OEM'ed and made by the same factory for all three brands since they all look the same in pictures and have similar manufacturing defects reported in their reviews.

Poorly designed and does not fit well

I was excited about this product and I am usually generous with reviews, but this rack is junk. The individual pieces are good quality but they do not go together at all. I have assembled lots of products and the design is poor and joints don't connects they should. The price is good but if you purchase this product you are going to have to put in a lot of effort to assemble it since it is poorly cut metal. If you have a metal shop you can refine the pieces.
