I hope this one lasts as long as the first one I had. I love this machine. I started out with a CD storage unit with only 100. (Also a Sony) but I collected too many CD's so I passed that machine on to my mother. What I love about this machine is that you can push a button which mixes all the discs. You can also mix accordingly, like romantic tunes for a romantic dinner or party songs for dancing. Love this machine. Only wish Sony would continue to make them. I understand why with all of the streaming now days but the companies never remember the older people who have become accustom to other ways. Now I have 300 CD's of my own and the 100 + of my mothers and a friend brought many more when he moved in with me. I have an over abundance but why should I give them up when it's what I'm use to doing?

Our old CD Player died some years back and these players are no longer manufactured! So, finding a good seller, with a new CDP-CX355, was a challenge! The player arrived in, OMG, New Condition. We loaded it up with 300 CD's and have been filling our home with quality music 16 hours a day. Thank you Engin #9 ðŸ‘👠You are the best ever. I believe that Sony made a huge mistake in stopping production of a very good CD Player. It has all the functions needed and then some... I highly recommend this Sony CDP-CX355 if you can find one. I am looking to purchase a second one and keeping my eye out to make that happen, sooner than later!!

Works perfectly as decribed

Player arrived 1 day earlier than earliest possibility. WELL packaged. great condition. works perfect. I played it 12 hrs. a day every day after hooking it up for 1 week and it's perfect. Now I use it every 3rd day. I am well pleased with every phase of this purchase . I would recommend this co. to anyone and will especially look for them on Amazon when I buy again.

I have filled it and it is working. I spent a great deal of time cataloging the CDs in an Excel spreadsheet as I loaded the changer. I bought one ten years ago and it is fully loaded and concatenated with the one I just bought. Unfortunately I didn't catalog those CDs as I loaded them and I will do that next. It is essential that the owner read the instruction manual (available online) to be able to use all the extensive capabilities of this unit; e.g., you can create groups of Cds, contiguous or non-contiguous, and shuffle or continuous play within a group. I would be happy to share my spreadsheet format. I now can quickly find any one of my 600 CDs to play. I wish Sony still made this unit.
