Better for the advanced juggler than the beginner
Diana M.•June 9, 2018
I bought these as a learning juggler. Now that I have mastered the technique a bit, I realize that they are really too light for good control while learning. I did much better when I switched to square bean bags. I think that the ideal weight and size for juggling balls should be roughly the size of small oranges. In all seriousness, I juggled oranges last night and realized that I would have been better off with something like that when I started. On the other hand, my juggling instructor had no problems with this particular set, but again, he is an advanced juggler.
Great juggling balls for Juggling inside or outside on a flat rough surface like the ground.

Love these for juggling for people. They do roll but they are also perfectly stable shape wise.
They are a great weight as well (not too heavy or lite).
The colors are nice until you use them for a while. They get kinda dirty after using a lot.
I lost mine for a while and bought a new set because of their low cost and found the old ones.
Thats one of the best things about these is the cost.
You can't put these in your pockets like the soft juggling balls but they aren't meant for that.

Since we're just beginners, we first bought a trio of the soft-cased, shot-filled juggling balls. Presumably those wouldn't roll away when dropped. But their off-center shapes made them a bit difficult to catch. And they all had the same four-pane design. These round balls are much easier to practice with for several reasons. First, each is of a different color, unlike our bean-bag triad. These are also slightly larger diameter, and finally they're slightly more firm. And they cost less! We'll probably order another set of these since my wife has taken up this habit-forming past-time as well.
For the price, you can't beat these.

I've been juggling for about 3 months now, and have practiced daily with these for the past month and a half. They're a durable, well made ball that sacrifices very little in terms of quality compared to other premium balls that I've had a chance to use.
They do bounce a bit more than beanbags, but it's acceptable. They'll roll away easily, but unless you're using Russian style (partially filed) balls, that's just a fact of life. For a novice, I'd start with bean bags to reduce frustration from them rolling away. The psychological effect of chasing down your mistakes can be very discouraging. Don't sabotage your success with frustration! Buy bean bags and *then* move to these.

Exactly what I was hoping for.

Wanted to learn to juggle, balled up socks weren't cutting it, these are great! Nice size for my adult male hands, decent weight, they seem pretty light. I just leave them on the counter and can pick them up whenever I have a moment and I practice, made a lot of improvement in just a few days time with them. They also seem to be well made, I have put my full weight on top of the ball a few times when leaning forward to pick them up and they squish down but don't appear to want to split or anything.
