Works great, but the assembly was a bear. Took me a couple of hours to get it all together properly, however I couldn't get the long wire to attach properly. If I had to decide on purchasing another dethatcher I would get one that was at least partially assembled. One of the big name do-it-yourself stores has one that's 90% assembled and I would get that one if this ever needs to be replaced.
Good product, inexpensive and effective.

It works ! May require some adjustments on height of mount etc, but basic manufacturing is practical and effective. This product is worth it for the person who wants to take on the challenge of their home lawn care.

I think I read in the reviews that someone put this dethatcher together in a 1/2 hr. That is very good. Took me a hour and half and I am pretty good with tools. Instructions were ok (diagrams) & the maker offered a website for instructions which I never used. Maybe I should have went to the website. Other than that, worked very well. Pulled up dead grass & will save you alot of time. I have rented a power rake before & for the price of this dethatcher, will really save money over time. Holds up well.

Pulled it around my yard a few times... got about two pickup loads of thatch. I did add a little weight. Seems well built. Should Last me a long time
