Wanted this unit for years, finally bought it a few months ago and absolutely love it!! It does exactly what it is designed to do. Only complaint is the dust collection hole plugs up, I will attach a shop vacuum to the port and that will solve the problem in the future

This planer works very well and has very little snipe when adjusted properly. It provided a very smooth surface on oak and walnut that required almost no sanding at all. My only minor gripe is that the depth adjust readout is a little far from the scale. It requires that you look straight on with the arrow to get an accurate depth set.

It's really heavy, one of the first things I planed was a little wheely cart to roll it around so I didn't have to carry it. But it makes things flat and you can't ask for much else from a planer.
