This would have been good for when I need to store the planer

they do their job, only complaint is that because of the way the planer is shaped, they can't fold up vertically and there is no way to hold them closed. This would have been good for when I need to store the planer.

If I had a good bed for this planer, with infeed and outfeed tables, then I would not need these folding tables. Maybe that's why they are an option since some people must have already made a good setup that works.
Anyway they were easy to install and greatly reduced snipe, much as many other reviewers reported.
To further reduce snipe I add a piece of scrap at the beginning and end of a planing run. The little bit of snipe hits the scrap and leaves the good pieces clean. As long as some wood is continually in the planer there really is no snipe at all.

I would recommend them as an add to the DW735 planer.

They are very well constructed, easily installed, however one needs to know that it takes some tricky adjusting to help remove snipe on the wood piece.

This item is well made but the alignment is terrible--both infeed and outfeed tables were misaligned by about 1/8".
Furthermore, there are no instructions for how to realign the tables. (There are adjustment screws but the customer shouldn't have to figure this out; it should have been in the instruction sheet.)
Altogether, not the sort of quality control I expect from Delta (especially since the planer itself was meticulously aligned when it was shipped almost 10 years ago.)
