Great set of scissors

I bought these about 5 months ago to replace a cheap set from IKEA. These are truly a multi functional set of scissors. My wife recently used them to open a really tight lid on a pickle jar. I had tried for 5 minutes y hand and using a tea towel for added grip but unsuccessful, 30 seconds later my wife tells me "it's off". I look over to see her using the lid grip feature built into the handle. They keep their edge and are a really nice set of scissors. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a new pair.

Spring eventually wears out

I bought this as a gift, but we have gone through a number of pairs of these in 11 years of making cat food. This is Henckels' less expensive poultry shears but my husband, who does all the cutting likes this version better than the twice as expensive version. Eventually the spring breaks and we've exchanged numerous pairs at Bed Bath and Beyond as well as getting replacement springs from Henckels to repair it ourselves. The last time though, Henckels actually replaced them. It was kind of a hassle - which is why we have two pairs - but eventually we received the replacement pair so they are standing behind their product.
