This works well, although there are a couple of things I don't like. First, I couldn't find a set of holes that perfectly matched the base of a Porter-Cable 691 plunge router--I had to use slotted holes. Maybe that's not a big deal, but I was surprised there wasn't a set of holes that matched Porter Cable bases perfectly. Second, I needed to give this a bit of lube to make it work--a few shots of silicone spray lube did the trick. The base fits so tightly to the track it doesn't slide easily. Finally, and I suppose this is a balance point between cost and durability--this is a plastic base. One false drop and I'm concerned the base will snap off from the track interface. Yes, I would like if it had been machined from aluminum or something more rugged...I would have gladly paid more for it. Overall, I'm giving it a good rating, it works well once lubed up and I'm happy with the results so far.
