Originally purchased this for oil pulling but afterwards I heard it wasn't a good practice for people with crowns so I had to do some more research to see what I could use this oil for since I don't cook. After a lot of research I found that oils can be used for skin cleansing and/or moisturizing. I mean, if I can skip all the name brand, expensive stuff then I will give it a try. I have been using oils for my skin now for several months. I can see and feel a difference on my skin and in my wallet. Research is key though and some trial and error. Comedogenic (causes acne/clogged pores) rating of 2 (which is good, 0 is better) The consistency is a little thick so I mix mine with some sweet almond oil (another rating of 2). The mix makes a great body moisturizer. Has anti bacterial properties. I have re-ordered this because I like this brand. The scent is very slightly nutty. Research Comedogenic Ratings if your using carrier oils for skin care. I like beneficial botanicals dot com. On a side note, I now use my coconut oil for a wood conditioner/furniture polish (it worked horribly on my skin) So, don't buy big batches based on what other people say. Everyone is different.

I don't like the smell and taste of sesame oil. But I use it for skin care primarily. Compared to other brands I tried after my old tried and true go-to Hain sold out, Flora cold pressed sesame oil comes closest to the quality I liked in Hain, except it is heavier. Because I am comparing it to my all time favorite, I gave it 4 stars for flavor, but next to the other brands I tried, I would give it 5 stars.

I too am using this sesame oil for "oil pulling". I've just started it, and I must say for me, it's taking a bit to get used to a mouthful of oil. That being said, this oil has a very light pleasant flavor and is quite tolerable for pulling. I sometimes alternate with coconut oil, but this is my go-to when I don't think I can stand waiting for the coconut oil to melt. I like the fact that it's packaged in a glass bottle, and the price is very reasonable. Good product!
